From zero to line.

One accountable partner for China's Optics Valley. Machines, photonics components and turnkey production lines from 1,200+ partner factories, proven before they ship and supported for as long as they run.

Optics Valley, seen from abroad

  1. 16,000 companies.

    In one valley in Wuhan.

  2. One of the world's most complete industrial chains.

Fiber, chips, lasers, optics, machines and whole production lines.

  3. From abroad, one of the hardest to use.

Which one can you trust? Who makes ten suppliers work as one? Who answers when the machine stops?

We make it one line.

Our mission

Put China's Optics Valley to work for the world.

  • Faster to production. Factories matched to your part and output, and proven on your sample before you order.
  • Lower in cost. Factory pricing across 1,200+ partners, and a straight answer when a cheaper spec will do.
  • Lighter on risk. One contract and one owner, from export papers to support for the life of the equipment.

What we deliver

One light. Every part of industry.

Light is what Optics Valley does best. It cuts steel, builds batteries, carries data and sees heat. We organise it around the job you need done.

From zero to line

From one machine to a whole plant.

Start with one machine or an empty building. The partner, the contract and the commitments stay the same.

    Machine

One machine, matched to your part and tested on your sample before you order.

    16,000+ machines delivered

  2. 02

    Cell

Machines, fixtures, robots, extraction and safety, set up to work as one station.

    3,000+ line projects

  4. 04

    Plant

From an empty building to a running factory: utilities, equipment from many factories, installation, training and ramp-up.

How we work

Five commitments. One owner.

Buying from 1,200 factories should feel like buying from one. These are the promises we put in writing.

  1. Matched, not listed

You ask “Which of 16,000 companies can actually do my job?”

We match your part, output and budget to factories we have audited, and we tell you when you don't need the expensive option.

  2. Proven before you pay

You ask “Is the spec real?”

We test your part in Wuhan, run every machine before it is crated, and show you the factory acceptance test on video.

Drag the beam across the plate

Try it · laser cleaning Cleaned 0%
  3. One contract, one owner

You ask “Who makes ten suppliers work as one?”

One project manager, one contract and one shipment, however many factories are behind it.

  4. Delivered to running

You ask “Who handles export, certification and installation?”

Export documents, certification support, freight, installation, commissioning and training, until it runs in your plant.

  5. Here for the life of it

You ask “Who answers when it stops?”

Spare parts, remote support, retrofits and upgrades for the working life of the equipment.

Why Optics Valley

Built where light is made.

Wuhan's East Lake High-tech Zone, known as China's Optics Valley, is where China drew its first practical optical fiber in 1976. Today it holds one of the world's most complete photonics and manufacturing supply chains.

  • ≈ 50%

of China's optoelectronic information industry is in Optics Valley [1]

  • ≈ 25%

of the world's optical fiber and cable comes from the Optics Valley cluster [2]

  • 70%+

of the laser equipment varieties made in China are made here [3]

  • 16,000

optoelectronic companies in the zone [4]

FAQ

Questions buyers ask first.

What is ZeroLine?

ZeroLine is the international sales, engineering and service partner for more than 1,200 factories in and around Wuhan's Optics Valley in China. Since 2009 we have delivered more than 16,000 machines and 3,000 production-line projects to customers in 58 countries.

Is ZeroLine a manufacturer or a trading company?

Neither, exactly. We don't own the factories, and we don't just resell. We match, test, integrate, ship and support equipment from audited partner factories, under one contract, and we stay responsible after delivery.

What is China's Optics Valley?

Optics Valley is the East Lake High-tech Zone in Wuhan, Hubei. It holds about half of China's optoelectronic information industry and around 16,000 optoelectronic companies, and it is the world's largest base for optical fiber, cable and optical communication devices.

Can I test my part before I buy?

Yes. Send a sample or a drawing. Our engineers test it in Wuhan and send you video, photos, the settings used and a quote for that exact setup. For laser machines, testing is free apart from postage.

Do you build complete production lines and plants?

Yes. We have delivered more than 3,000 production-line projects. We plan the process and layout, integrate equipment from several factories, run factory acceptance, then install, train and support ramp-up on site.

Which countries do you ship to?

We have customers in 58 countries. We crate for sea or air freight and quote to your port or your door, with the voltage, plugs, labels and documents your country needs.

How do I get a quote?

Tell us what you are starting from: a part, a line, a network or an empty building. An engineer replies with a plan and a quote for the exact configuration we would ship.
